Another thing learned is that if you want something to happen, it can happen if you really try and get it done. Like when James and the others were worried because their ship (the peach) was sinking. But each one of them worked hard and they finally ended up.. read the book to find out.

One thing I learned from reading this book is to not be greedy because when the aunts saw the giant peach growing the first thing they thought of was money and all the money they could make of it. But the next thing they know they are getting smushed by the giant peach.

This is me and the grasshopper looking down from the top of the peach.

I live with my horrible aunts, Sponge and Spiker. I love going to the beach but they wont let me go unless someone takes me there but their both lazy and will never go with me. My hopes are to become a story writer. This is the night when we landed in New York City. We landed on the tip of the tower!!
James and the Giant Peach is a book by Roald Dahl. In the book James parents died and he is sent to live with his aunts. James is very smart . He shows this in the book when he thinks of the idea of catching seagulls and attaching them to the giant peach to get them out of the middle of the sea.
